Acoustic Marketing Cloud Redesign

 

The Acoustic design team was given an 18 month runway to unify a decades worth of acquisitions into a modern, integrated platform, with seamless, easy to use workflows across all capabilities.

The existing portfolio was a series of siloed capabilities, reflective of their origin as different applications. The UI lacked modernization and workflows were cumbersome.

Poor usability was cited as the #1 pain point. 

 
 

Intended Outcomes

  • A single beautiful, well executed design system that ensures consistency in branding, language and interactions

  • Capabilities that are easy to use with clear direction and obvious feedback

  • Simplified navigation with consistency across all products

  • Alignment for common experiences including login, user/subscription management, user profile, communications, first use, billing and usage, search…

  • An experience that is accessible (WCAG AA compliant), globalized, mobile responsive (tablet); and optimized for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari

  • Better understanding of customer usage/feedback with a common analytics tagging strategy, and new NPS tooling

  • Greater dev + design efficiency/velocity with reusable components, interactions and page templates built on a common frontend framework
